Burt can compete with any yard on Long Island, and in cases of direct ships on special orders, we can usually compete with any yard in the country. On occasion, we've heard contractors say " We don't buy our hardwoods from you because we can buy it better at XYZ company" or "I usually go to XYZ for all my roofing and primed fascia" - etc. etc. If you don't tell us, we'll never know. Talk to us! Let us know if you are getting better deals elsewhere. In most cases we can match those deals, and we can tweak your account so you automatically get the right pricing and save time not having to run around to different suppliers.

Burt's inventory goes deeper than most yards. If it's typically found in a lumber yard, then chances are we have it in stock. If not, we'll get it for you.

Yard Services	You want to drive in - get your truck loaded - and get out of here fast ! When you send your helper here to pick up materials, you need him back on the job pronto! We try our best to make this happen. We want to be the fastest ! Call us and we'll get your pick up order ready for you. Top of Page
Fedex or UPS	UPS shows up every day. We can box it and shoot it out to you the same day for tomorrow's arrival. Top of Page
Common Carriers	Often a certain part of the country will have a shortage of a certain product. If you're willing to pay the freight, we're willing to package and ship it to you. Give us a call. Top of Page
For Sale by Contractor	Are you stuck with a non-returnable special orders ? Many times contractors get stuck with items that have changed on the job, or the wrong swing was ordered for that door. Many items are not returnable to the lumber yard. If you are stuck in this situation, send us a detailed description ( a photo would be nice) , and we'll list it on our inside bulletin board and our website and try to sell it for you.
